Day 3000 of the fifth circle:

2000 moons and a shekel have passed since the restoration of Chag'Eth Dor. Silvio The Forgotten, the emperor, was waiting for the report from his scouts. Meanwhile he made his daily rounds around his lands, making sure everything was in order.

Silvio had his guards and informants, but it pleased him, from time to time, to leave his castle and be sheltered by the cloak of the night while he contemplated his lands from the air; noticing nothing extremely strange more than some wild beasts.

At dawn the next day, Silvio noticed a male figure approaching in the distance, crawling on the ground, whose sighting makes him alert the guard, and immediately afterwards Silvio went to his castle, more precisely, to his alchemy room, to remove a vial of Phoenix's Tear Essence, a highly effective restorative potion. After that, he took his way to the door of his castle, where he was awaited by four guards, of which two of them were holding the scout. Silvio slowly administered the essence to the explorer, who had quickly been identified as a corps of the second campaign of the fourth research regiment, these were the ones who were in charge of examining the location of possible new settlements for the expansion of the empire. Once administered, the explorer began to show rapid improvement in his deplorable condition, the cuts on his shoulders began to close, the blood seemed to be absorbed through his own skin, and the bruising on his face and the rest of his body simply began. to dissapear. Once the scout regained his health, he took a very deep breath and drew a small mana from his pocket; showing the emperor the location of a wide terrain, which seemed to have been desolate for a very long time, but the map, mapped by the same explorer, marked the location as a large town, more like a city covered by a huge wall . This city would be known in the future as E’et Ista, which means Eternal Night.

Silvio The Forgotten, the emperor himself, took a handful of his best warriors, and set out for those forgotten lands. But, in order not to leave his empire unprotected, he carried in his right hand a strange orb, which contained within it a scale representation of the entire Chag'Eth Dor, including the silhouettes of each citizen and members of this .

He could say that the trip was fraught with danger and emotion, but he would be lying. The road to destination was, for the most part, uneventful. That trip only took three days at a steady pace. When, once they reached it, the explorer, still resting in the infirmary of the empire's barracks, gave a huge and sudden scream of agony and died on the spot. Silvio heard the scream, but his gaze remained fixed on the huge walls of the city, and he began to think, wondering about what had happened there to turn that huge city in the sight of the whole world into just a lost territory, and, that it was what had attacked that poor scout in such a savage way that even the worst assassins would call it a bestiality after they had found that area.

As he approached one of the huge gates of the city, Silvio ordered the guards to explore the surroundings of the city, but the guards, unaware, observed their surroundings, in the same place where they were standing, without saying a single word. . Silvio noticed something strange in not hearing the confirmation of his men and slowly turned around, observing them while he repeated the order, to which, the captain of the division said `` but, your eminence ... there is only one wet and Leafy Swamp '. This answered one of the questions he had on his mind. "I see ..., so this place is under a spell of illusion," Silvio commented in a low voice, almost to himself; After a moment, he approached his men and recited an advanced spell of revelation, showing his escorts the place as it was supposed to be. All the guards nodded and began to surround the walls without knowing what they were really hiding.

Once they made sure that the entire area outside the walls was clear, they began to force one of the gates open. Once it was open, Silvio and his men began to go beyond the walls, noticing inside a landscape as desolate and gloomy as it was gloomy: corpses of all kinds of beings and creatures scattered in the streets, some even showing the actions that they were performing at the time of their death, as if time had stopped in that place, yet it seemed as if they had been dead for more than 1000 years. When everyone looked up, they noticed a totally red sky, with a totally paranormal atmosphere, something that was not possible to see from the outside. However, without hesitation, they decided to walk towards the epicenter of the city. With each step taken, a more disturbing vision of the city was shown, ashes began to sprout from the ground and the corpses became white and red spots on it, in turn a strange fog began to form and spread out of nowhere. And, suddenly, one of the guards began to scream as a mysterious force dragged him out of sight within that fog, which increased fear towards it, one by one they began to disappear until there were five of the fifteen men and the emperor. . Quickly, he ordered the rest of his men to leave the place and stay outside the walls, telling the captain that he himself was going to look for the cause of such events and eradicate it, the captain nodded twice and marked with the rest of his men.

The emperor, alone, decided to continue on his way, to what was supposed to be the center of the city, a huge chapel adorned with rubies, gems and crimson diamonds, which highlighted a bloody atmosphere, and whose power fed the very heart of what was happening there. Silvio noticed, apart from the appearance of the abandoned chapel, which stood out to be not so abandoned, the fact that against the light the gems illuminated a kind of runic mark around the entire wall of the chapel, as if the chapel had been the center of all that paranormal activity.

Meanwhile, already on the outskirts of the city, the militiamen watched as the city slowly consumed itself. Worried, but at the same time confident about the return of the emperor, they stood guard there, waiting for a signal and, in turn, making sure that no one interrupted in the place.

Inside the city, Silvio approached the doors of the chapel, and they slowly opened. A second before placing the first foot inside it, five canine demons began to approach him. But keeping distance; At first glance, these creatures appeared to be hostile, with their growls, barks, and mock attack attempts. These beasts quickly caught his attention; because apart from their deformed appearances, they were acting spiritually, in greater words, they were testing the emperor rather than showing his true hostile nature. They saw the emperor as one of their own and wanted to know if he was a member of their own, but he acted with indifference towards them, the lack of essence of himself camouflaged him with that of the place and its surroundings. Even amidst the constant grunting and barking, the emperor decided to continue his march into the chapel; which, sprouting from the walls, where more crimson gems were born, they released a kind of reddish fluid, which followed the path of gutters along the floor. But, when standing in the center of such a magnificent ethereal building, the beasts, which had stopped at the entrance, appeared before him, taking in turn the physical form that the emperor possessed at that time; five demi-dragons were standing in front of him, meeting glances with him; and, in front of them, he saw himself, purifying the waters of the reddish pool at the opposite end of the main door of the chapel. As soon as the water took on a more normal appearance, the beings slowly approached the emperor and began to merge with him. Silvio had the feeling that there was nothing to worry about, that everything became clearer every time one of them entered him, as if they were giving him something that Olvido could never give him; and, in turn, these beings gave him and revealed the truth of those lands, whose secret should remain within it.

The emperor closed his eyes slowly, and when he slowly opened his eyes, he saw himself sitting on the throne of the castle of his new kingdom, which he made known as E’et Ista. A city that became as populated as it was self-sufficient, no one knew or will know what the emperor saw there, but all they know is that these beings guard the three entrances, the castle and its chapel; ensuring the safeguarding of those lands.
